Who Am I

My name is Ora Sapir. I work as a complementary therapist.
It all started in 1997 when I did Biodanza and received complements on my healing hands. So I undertook the training in holistic and therapeutic massage at the Oxford School of Massage. I graduated at the end of 1997. That was followed by two weekends of spiritual healing.

In 1998 I started teaching massage at Littlemore adult education centre. The Head liked my work and encouraged me to train in aromatherapy as well. So in 1999 I trained in aromatherapy at Abingdon College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire. I graduated in 2000 with credit.

At the same time, I had an interesting experience with one of my massage clients. he had an energetic response that I did not understand and did not know how to handle. As a result of consulting a friend, I enrolled on the Biodynamic Massage course at Chiron, Centre for Body Psychotherapy, London. I loved the course. It took 2 years to complete.

Later on I added to my repertoire Reiki 1.

I was now able to teach aromatherapy & massage for Littlemore adult learnnig. My courses were accredited by OCN (I can't remember what that stood for). Each term I taught 10 weeks. One term was assigned to stage I and the following to stage II. It was an exciting course and people were the pround owners of their certificates at the end of this most enjoyable course.

As funds ran out my courses were no longer accredited. In addition, Oxfordshire County Council re-structured adult education (several times). I was no longer part of Littlemore, but under the wings of Oxfordshire County Council. That meant that I could now teach in any venue in the county. Over the years, I have been teaching as far afield as Banbury and Chinnor. My teaching consists of evening courses in aromatherapy & massage, and one-day workshops in aromatherapy & massage, making natural cosmetics, meditation, counselling skills, and more.
